Areniscos is borned with reflection about the speed of the current industrial production and the social consequences of nowadays. On the other side it takes natural environment and the possibilities it can bring us in sensory levels, sustainability and experience.

It's about creating a small industry that allows us to create multiple objects in a simple way, using our surroundings, without contamination, without machinery, using only the resources we need and discarding the minimum surplus material, as molds, tools and more. these are built acquiring the value of an handcrafting object but unlike traditional manufacturing it increases the speed at which objects are created.

The project aims to emphasize the importance of the production process for both, the final product, which acquires a unique identity resulting from a decision of Nature, and the user who made that experience with them from the time throwing water on the sand until they have to give at home use. It is a process that allows anyone to create objects in a very simple way getting a variety of shapes, sizes and colors that will always depend on the environment and its effects.

It's an experience between man and the environment.

Areniscos nace con la reflexión acerca de la velocidad de la producción industrial actual y las consecuencias que a nivel social esto conlleva. Como contraposición situa el entorno natural y las posibilidades que éste nos puede aportar a diferencia de la mentalidad industrial a nivel sensorial, sostenible y de experiencia.

Se trata de crear una pequeña industria que nos permita crear multitud de objetos de una manera sencilla, aprovechando nuestro entorno, sin contaminarlo, sin maquinaria, usando solo aquellos recursos que necesitamos y desechando el mínimo de material sobrante, como moldes, herramientas, etc. A diferencia de la industria se construyen objetos que adquieren el valor de un objeto artesanal y a diferencia de la artesanía aumenta muchísimo la rapidez con la que los objetos son creados.

El proyecto pretende enfatizar la importancia del proceso de producción tanto para el producto final, que adquiere una identidad única fruto de una decisión de la Naturaleza, como para el usuario que lo fabrica, que experimenta con ellos desde el momento en que lanza el agua sobre la arena hasta que les tiene que dar un uso en su casa. Es un proceso que permite a cualquier persona crear objetos de una manera muy fácil y básica consiguiendo una gran variedad de formas, tamaños y colores que dependerán siempre del entorno y sus efectos.

Es una experiencia entre el hombre y el entorno.
